At sundown in late winter, the Lincoln home in Springfield, Illinois, reflects the brilliance of the western sky. The restored neighborhood around the home features plank sidewalks and mid-nineteenth century fence designs.Abraham Lincoln's bedroom is on the second floor, left side. The home has been restored to its 1860 appearance and features much original woodwork.
