Berks Bust in Frankfort, Kentucky

You can see this striking bronze bust entitled "Meet Mr. Lincoln" beneath the Old State Capitol dome. It rests near the base of a justly famous self-supporting stone stairway. This restored building served as the Kentucky statehouse from 1830 to 1910.

Artist Robert Berks, sculptor of this heroic-sized work, employed his trademark textured style to depict Abraham Lincoln as President. Berks also created similar busts of the "Gettysburg Lincoln," John F. Kennedy, Albert Einstein and others.
