Artist Robert Berks, sculptor of this heroic-sized work, employed his trademark
textured style to depict Abraham Lincoln as President. Berks also created similar
busts of the "Gettysburg Lincoln," John F. Kennedy, Albert Einstein and others.Berks Bust in

You can see this striking bronze bust entitled "Meet Mr. Lincoln" beneath the
Old State Capitol dome. It rests near the base of a justly famous self-supporting stone
stairway. This restored building served as the Kentucky statehouse from 1830 to 1910.
