Seated Lincoln by Adolph A. Weinman

The original of this figure stands in the center of Hodgenville, Kentucky, a short distance from Lincoln's birthplace. Abraham Lincoln's son Robert attended the dedication in 1909, the centennial of his father's birth.

The figure, symbolic of the presidency, was so admired at the time that a full-size replica was produced for the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
